Yi Jin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Precision Machinery and Precision Instruments, University of Science and Technology of China. His research focuses on imaging detection and intelligent perception, including high-frame-rate imaging, super-resolution microscopic imaging, computer vision, and AI-enabled scientific instruments. He has led multiple research projects including Major Scientific Instrument Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Natural Science Foundation projects. In 2024, he received funding from the Anhui Provincial Outstanding Young Scientists Program. Over the past five years, his research achievements have resulted in over 70 publications as the first or corresponding author in top journals including IEEE TIP, TII, TIE, TMM, TCSVT, as well as leading AI conferences such as CVPR and NIPS (CCF-A category). More than 40 national invention patents have been applied for/granted. The research achievement "Key Technologies and Systems for High-Speed Visual Imaging Measurement" won the First Prize of Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2025 (as the first contributor). Additionally, he received the First Prize of Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2019 (as the second contributor).
