Chen Li is currently a full professor and doctoral supervisor at the Shaanxi University of Science and Technology in China, where he conducts teaching and scientific research in the department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. He is also a leading talent in technological innovation in Shaanxi Province. He is the Vice Dean of the School of Mechatronic Engineering at Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, concurrently serving as Director of the Department of Intelligent Science and Technology. He joined the faculty of the Shaanxi University of Science and Technology in July 2016.He graduated from the Jean Monnet University in France in June 2016 with a Ph.D. degree in Optics. He also graduated from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in China with a Ph.D. degree in Optical Engineering. He focuses on the research works about femtosecond laser processing and measurement, laser micro-nano fabrication, and Micro Optical Mechanical Electrical systems (MOMES). His research works are supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Postdoctoral foundation, Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province, etc. He is a senior member of the Chinese Society of Micro-NanoTechnology. He served as the evaluation expert of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the reviewer of several SCI journals.
