Dr. Longguo Wu

Dr. Longguo Wu is an Associate Professor at Ningxia University and a Master’s Supervisor in Vegetable Science and Horticulture. A core member of the “Huang Danian Teacher Team,” he is recognized as a Ningxia Young Top Talent and a recipient of the Third Prize of the Ningxia Science and Technology Progress Award. His research focuses on nutrient detection in horticultural crops and non-destructive detection technologies for agricultural products, with extensive work in hyperspectral imaging and deep learning. Dr. Wu has led or participated in more than 20 scientific projects, including NSFC programs, and developed the first-class provincial simulation software “Internet of Things Virtual Simulation Experiment for Tomato Greenhouse Cultivation,” now part of the National Virtual Simulation Teaching Platform. Dr. Wu has published over 30 first/corresponding-author papers in high-impact journals such as Plant Biotechnology Journal, LWT, Optics and Laser Technology, Microchemical Journal, and Postharvest Biology and Technology. He holds multiple invention patents, utility models, software copyrights, and released group standards. He serves as Associate Editor of Plant Methods and on the young editorial boards of Plant Phenomics, Horticulture Research, and others, while also reviewing for more than 20 international journals. His academic experience includes a visiting scholar position at Texas A&M University–Kingsville, and his work has been featured by major media including CCTV-13 and People's Daily.
